The CardFinity lineup: stacked black, white and red vaults, magnets, cards and the app

Setup is a sticker

"Where is that card?" Every collector knows it. You own it; you just don't know which box it's in.

01

Stick the tag

Press any NTAG213 or NTAG215 sticker into the 25 mm cavity on the front of the vault. That's the C-Badge.

02

Link it

Open the vault in the app, tap Link, and hold your phone to the badge. The app writes the tag.

03

Tap to reveal

From then on, a tap opens that vault's contents on screen. Any NFC phone. Works with a box you already own, too.

Built from 921 comments

The vault collectors were already asking for.

We read every comment and rating on the three most-printed card boxes on MakerWorld, 22,600 downloads between them. The quotes are verbatim.

Smart storage

Matte, blocky, printed at home.

Nine vaults: three sizes, each in a Raw, TopLoad and Graded version. Every vault shares a footprint family so they stack and lock, and all include divider grooves and print profiles. Soft-sleeved cards fit the Raw vault. Hard toploaders do not — they need the TopLoad vault. Graded slabs have their own.

Why these vaults

01

A lid that stays on and never scratches a card

Neodymium magnets hold the lid instead of friction: four per lid on the Deck and Card Vaults, six on the Mega Vault. It snaps shut, lifts with a fingertip, and never touches a card edge. Drop the vault or turn it upside down and the lid stays on.

02

Stack and lock

Ferrite discs in the floor and lid lock vault to vault, so a stack on a shelf does not slide and a tower of Deck Vaults moves as one piece.

03

No glue, no supports

Magnets are the only hardware: 4 × 4 mm neodymium and 25 × 4 mm ferrite. About $1.20 for a Deck Vault, $1.70 for a Card Vault and $3.00 for a Mega Vault. One bag of each covers all nine vaults with spares. Neodymiums press in after printing. Ferrites are embedded during the print. Print the Magnet Size Tester first. No supports.

04

Soft sleeves in Raw. Toploaders in TopLoad.

Soft-sleeved cards fit the Raw vault. Hard 3″×4″ toploaders do not — they need the TopLoad vault. A Yu-Gi-Oh! shim is available for smaller cards.

05

Works with any box

Stick a tag on a box you already own and it becomes a CardFinity vault.

Included print profile: 0.2 mm layers, three walls, 20 percent gyroid infill, no supports, PETG or PLA

Paintable stripe

Color the stripe and the badge round.

Two regions are set up to paint in Bambu Handy. The center stripe wraps all four sides. The badge round sits on the face, around the C-Badge. Blue in the diagram is what you paint. The body stays your base filament.

Center stripe

A band around the middle of the vault, paintable on every side.

Badge round

The ring around the C-Badge, painted on its own.

Bambu Handy

Assign the colors in the app before you print. The rest of the vault stays the filament you started with.

Your colors, your brand

Print it your way. Licensees can sell it under their own name.

Body color, painted stripe, lid pattern, and the badge on the NFC tag are yours to change. Commercial licensees can sell finished vaults under their own name and logo, with a "Designed by CardFinity, Manufactured under License" badge. The tag still opens the CardFinity app.

From the maker of COINFINITY

Same tags. Same local-first idea. Applied to cards.

FINITY Labs is Gavin Stevens. COINFINITY, the NFC-tagged coin-stacker system, funded on MakerWorld in 2025 at 570% of goal. The models shipped on schedule, the app is live, and the store has been running since. CardFinity is the second product in the family: same tags, same local-first app, applied to cards.

In 2016, Gavin won $100,000 on Intel's America's Greatest Makers for the PowerBobber, a wireless Bluetooth fishing bobber. Watch it here.
